Dropping in on what hopefully will turn into a ongoing and fairly regular part of the Twisted Thoughts site. This is gonna kinda give you a better idea about what is going on with the group, give you a peek into the behind the scene action and give you some secret info.

So where to start.
Myself along with Spider and P spent the weekend playing 2 shows. The first of which was some crazy ass Murderfest down in West Virginia. We drove straight through 6 hours to get to this place. There where a bunch of local acts along with the shit stains of Horror core, Psych Ward. We came in all professional like with all our gear, lighting and mics, ready to rock the fuck out of this hillbilly town. But I guess the powers that be did no promotion at all the local bands pulled a total of Zero people. That’s right a big fat goose egg. We brought a few people, one dude even drove a couple hours to come down and see us. We had a girl who got suspended form school for listening to us and she was down front for the whole show, shouting along as we were beating each other with the bats. After the show we chilled for a bit, we were out in the parking lot hanging with the few kids that did show up, banging the new TT cd in somebody’s car. It was pretty fresh, knowing the Twisted Thoughts was the only thing of interest in the whole town. We bounced from the Hyamp and their Karate Kid wanna be sound guy and hit up Micky D’s. Let this be a lesson to you, never go to the drive though of any fast food restaurant with 6 guys with 6 different orders. They will always screw it up, and probably spit in it too. After we got our 23 Double Cheese Burgers, 1 spicy Chicken, 3 large Cokes, 1 large Coke with no ice, 2 regular fries and a piece of pie we were set for another 6 hour drive back to Da’ Burgh.
I thought I lost my phone on that trip, which would be devastating to us or me. If any of you know me , you know the kind of numbers that are in that phone. And of course there is no back up or list any where. That’s it. If the phone get lost or broken, I’m just S.O.L. So I had a little scare there, but ended up finding it packed away with some of my clothes. Stupid ass.

The next day was much more of the same. Hot as hell and we all felt hung over from the previous day of driving and playing. We made it to the venue and found that Dave of Baghead, decided it was not in his best interest to promote, or even show up to the show that he scheduled. Previous to this experience I had some respect for Baghead. But all that has left my mind. After the display that they put forth over the show this past weekend, I hope the drown in a pool of their own semen. But, we made the best of it and found a victim and proceeded to duct tape the hell out of him. We wrapped him with 2 full rolls of duct tape and slapped Twisted Thoughts stickers all over his body. It was great tension releaser for all of us. Kinda made up for the shit promoter and venue.
That’s it for now, bitch tune in next time for more shit that you don’t really care about.

Seems we have acquired the curse of bad venues or bad promoting, one or the other, possibly both. We made the trek to Cleveland, you know the mistake by the lake. We rolled into town to hook up our bud DJ Cripple with an on air interview. This cat is fresh as hell, he got the radio show going and his own mini-gatherings every week. Mad props to him. He schooled us on the radio lingo and the FCC rules as far as no cussing and all that fun shit. Then it was in front of the mics we went. Live to all of Cleveland and Ohio, hell it was beamed across the galaxy like Flash Gordon style so all the Double T Click up on Venus could hear our shit. We talked a bit and spun a few songs. Thanks again Cripple. And hit up that cat and request some Twisted Thoughts every Weds night from 6:30 – 9:30 pm at 216-397-GIFT.
We were scheduled to play a show that night to go along with the radio thing, we were mad excited to play. But some bullshit went down and we made a executive decision right there in the dressing room of the club. We bounced like that rubber check Grandma gave you for Christmas. Rumor has it, DJ Cripple has moved his Minis over to Peabody’s now.
As most of or road stories end we hit up Micky D’s and killed the Dollar menu for our ride back to Pittsburgh.

For those of you that were to lazy or to busy to come out to Sauce Storm 2, you totally missed a day of crazy shit. We had the cops and van loads of DEA agents running kids down and steeling there beer and money. There were even reports of cops steeling some Twisted Thoughts CDs and shirts. It was pretty funny to see a crowd of about 300 people disappear when the little police man showed up with his flashy little fag lights. To top off the piggish activities, the cops "confiscated" all the money the No Clue Crew had earned along with two kegs of beer. Fuck 'em!! In spite of the efforts of the local authorities, the show went on.

CRAP, took the satge further fanned the stench that is quickly becoming a sweet smell in the Juggalo community (in spite of audio problems). Then some crazy metal cover band rocked the stage, they started out with a Megadeth song, which made this old school metal head happy.

Then we had TT and they tore the fuck out of the stage. They even threw down 2 brand new tracks! No Clue then rocked what seemed to be a 3 hour set all the way till 2 in the morning. The sauce was flying and mosh pitt moving. Over all Sauce Storm was a great event, only down side was the cops and the super shitty sound system.

Gearing up for the big 4th of July celebration. Got the burgers all ready and a big old pile of steaks. Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. We are gonna do a laid back fourth this year maybe do some recording and just hang out at the house. It’s pretty cool up here in the summer, we got the studio right here, all air conditioned and shit, packed with a fridge and all the beverages you could ask for. Right out side we got a pool and the deck rolling right up to it, with the grill and all the furniture and shit. Nice place to relax and get some work done. Plus it’s away from the city and all the noise and congestion that goes on down there.
I think I’m gonna roll out tomorrow and pick up some fireworks. Some big fuckers too. I’m talking nuclear powered bottle rockets and plutonium powered grenades. We are gonna blow the hell out of the back yard!

We got some news from our long time homies over at No Clue Records. The hooked us up with a phat show in Geneva Ohio. Right up on the boardwalk at an all ages club up there. We gotta give mad props to those guys, they got our backs like nobody else. We are gonna turn the town out. It will never be the same.
I guess that’s all I care about today so fuck off.

Today has been a day of recouperation. Yesterday was my birthday and we spent it with some friends of ours at a show here in the 'burgh. Kottonmouth Kings and the whole Subnoize crew spent two nights here in town and invited us down to join in the festivities. Turns out that Big B has the same birthday as me, same year and everything. The boys from Wolfpac rolled up from Smelladelphia for the occasion and showed up with a big ass sheet cake with Big B's face on it, funny shit! Needless to say the drinking started early for all involved.

Myself , P and Korn of the band CRAP mingled with the kids in line and passed out some samplers and flyers trying to get some hype going for the show next week with Blaze. It's cool to get down and dirty with the fans. That is where I get a feel of what is really going on in the scene. Right out there with the people. After that we moved inside to avoid the dive bomb of Ricter & D-Loc's little R.C. Planes.

As we walk in the door, we stumbled on to Hed (pe) doing a TV interview with Rock Circus (PCT 21 in Pittsburgh) so watch for that airing soon and they also have a video scheduled and rumored to be headed to Head Banger's Ball, so watch for that!

From there we talked to Daddy X about some Twisted Thoughts stuff and about the "Free The West Memphis Three" shirt that P was wearing. We gave him a copy of the new CD, so you know he will be banging that wicked shit some where in Iowa on the tour bus.

Pot Luck hit the stage so we rolled down into the venue and man, it was hot as hell. No air conditioning and the kids were sweating like serial killers in church. During the show we even saw a few people get carried out of the pit, but we hung back and watched our boys tear it up. After their set we decided to return the the back stage area where it was still hot as hell, but much cooler than out front with 500 sweat bodies.

Sub Noize Souljaz hit the stage and Dirt Ball and Chuck Stylz were tearing it up. Dirt Ball has got to be one of the best rappers out right now. Kudos to Sub Noize for seeing that and getting him onboard! After their set we made our way to the balcony to chill with Wolfpac and catch up with those cats. Hed (pe) to the stage and played a kinda disjointed set. They didn't seem to be to into it. Who knows, maybe just my perception. I commented to Daddy Longlegs about the pit and we both agree that we are both too old to be down in there, although we would love to be.

KMK finished the night out with 2 hours of that hip hop - punk rock they do so well. We said our good byes and bounced to the Eat-n-Park in Dormont. Scooped up some free b-day desserts and got home about 2:30 am. I layed down for about 15 mins when it hit me! The food from Eat-n-Park came a rumblin' back for a second time. Great way to finish out a birthday, sitting on the toilet.

I got some pictures and a little video if your intrested...links below...err maybe tomorrow!

It’s been a bit since I dropped any info on you folks. My bad, the summer has just gotten away from me. As most of you know I had a daughter a few months ago, and she has been occupying much of my time lately.

As for the band we have just finished up some very successful shows and are seeing our following grow bigger each show. It so cool to have you guys out in the crowd every night singing along to all the words and shouting our name before we even hit the stage. These venues have been taking notice of the dedication of our fans, big time. We walk into these shows as the little guys and end up selling 2 times the merch as the major label acts that got paid thousands of dollars to come and perform. It a great feeling, knowing that we sold more tickets than a band who has had several albums chart on Billboard and done countless national tour. Thank you!!!

We have also been hard at work on our follow-up CD. This collection of songs is something that I can’t wait for you to hear. I have been jamming it in the car, on the I-Pod, on the computer, everywhere. I can’t stop listening to our stuff. I know it seems kinda egotistical, but I really like the way these songs are coming out. I believe it is some of the best work myself, Spider and P have ever done.

We are also working on a new project entitled 2012. If you don’t know the meaning of that, just drop the numbers into Google or something and stay up all night reading. But anyways, we have a mass collaboration of artist hitting up on these track. We’ve got guys from Blackmarket Bodyparts, No Clue, CRAP, The Pumpkin King, hell we might even throw you up on a track. But believe me this album is gonna shake the foundations of the music industry, not just in Pittsburgh, but nationally and globally. You have been warned, as 2012 approaches, bringing your doom.
