I caught my boyfriend cheating on me a few months ago and he swore he stopped seeing the other girl. The other day I found a note in his pocket from her! What should I do? We have a baby together, so I don’t want to just leave and break up our family, but I can’t just let it happen! - Amy, Cranberry, PA |

It sounds like you have some major trust issues. The first thing you should try is confronting him about it and hear his side of the story. If he is spending time with another girl, then there is something he’s not getting from your relationship. If you’re serious about keeping your family together, it might be time for counseling. But then again, you can always go out and find a new boy of your own. There’s nothing sweeter than revenge!! |

I am planning a wedding for next October. Everything is going good with my fiancé and I and the planning has been really fun. However, my future mother-in-law is causing all kinds of problems. She doesn’t like anything I do and is always putting her opinion in everything.
It’s my day not hers! |

If you’re not lucky like me to have a wonderful mother-in-law, you’re gonna have problems at every stage of life, not just the wedding planning. See you how fiancé feels about it. If he agrees with you, it’ll be easier for the two of you to talk to her and tell her to mind her own business. If he sides with her, you better watch out. Is this a mama’s boy or are you just being unreasonable? Since you’re the one he’s committing to, he should be siding with you. It’s time to get out the old carving knife and trim off that fat that’s ruining your roast. Is gonna be your fiancé or your mother-in-law. Or you can always hop a plane to Vegas instead. |

My husband acts like he doesn’t love me. He puts me down and is not always supportive of the things I want do. I try to show my love by leaving him cards, notes or emails, but he doesn’t seem to care. I love him, but I need to feel loved back. – Sara, Lansdale, PA

Tell him exactly how you feel. If he really does love you, maybe he has his own ways of showing it. Make suggestions for things he can do to express his feelings better. If he wants it to work, I’m sure he will be open to your ideas. If he can’t figure out how to make you feel loved, then it’s time to move on. Either leave him or just suffocate him while he’s sleeping. |

Why do I have to pay so much for checking? –
Erin, Cranberry, PA
|
 |
Not usually the kinds of questions I get asked, but hey, a question is a question! I’d say that you are going to the wrong bank. There are many banks out there that offer perfectly free checking with no minimum balance. I have used National City for years and I have never paid a fee, have had my account down to about $.33 and have never had any problems with them. I
would definitely recommend them. Other than that, I’d say just go rob the bank. The thousands of dollars you can steal will more than pay for your checking for years to come! |
